History

He and his brother Kouta were born in Neo Domino City's Commons area.

Personality

Kazuki appears polite at first, but sooner or later he tends to spring on people his particular brand of inappropriate humor and language. He's the kind of person who'll cheerfully tell the people he loves to go fuck themselves, but he's usually pretty good about making sure they don't take it seriously.
He has a major fondness for obscene slang and will happily adopt new phrases if offered them.
Obscenity isn't all he's fond of, however. He'll happily make all kinds of friendly jokes about people, including things like referring to Jack as "Jack Hotlas" or referring to Kurt as "Princess".
Because of Kouta, he has a habit of "speaking with his hands". That is to say, he uses sign language while speaking out loud a lot.
Though he comes off as a very relaxed and friendly person, Kazuki is considerably jaded by their upbringing and doesn't trust easily. Once you're his friend, he'll trust you with his life, but until then there's a hidden distance between him and the other person.
He has a deep-seated loathing of authority figures and doesn't trust them easily. Even if he somehow managed to be friends with one, there would still be unease and awkwardness for a long time.
The criminal mark he bears bothers him deeply as he's secretly a bit vain about his appearance. Though he carries a jammer with him to stop it being tracked, he does his best not to think about it too often.
Because of the life he was raised in, he's developed the ability to be quite cold-blooded when necessary. Stealing to survive is common enough in City, but he's capable of closing himself off to worse crimes - at least until they're over. The guilt he'd feel afterwards would be intensive enough that it keeps him from falling into that. Usually he just uses that cold-blooded attitude to close deals for the things he trades, or to allow himself to ignore someone who's hurting if it would put them in a bad place to help.
Kazuki has a bad habit of holding grudges.
Very technically minded, he likes working on electronics and picks up new tech easily.

Lifestyle

Kazuki isn't above selling his skills; in exchange for things necessary or desired for himself or his brother, he'll make jammers, repair broken tech that people have found or fix up duel disks.
He's not much of a cook. He can follow a recipe, but he doesn't have anything resembling a desire to cook or any talent for it.
